At Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel

The ask: to transform a conference meeting, set theatre-style for five hundred guests, into an elegant dining, dancing and entertainment venue for those same five hundred guests in just two hours. The response: yes, we can! With much detailed planning and advanced delivery of decor elements tucked away, the meeting wrapped, and the team flew into action. In two hours, the Canadian Room and Conference Foyer changed into a stylish dinner party with fifty tables, five hundred shiny black chairs, linens, tableware, and floral assemblages set on each table. The foyer was decorated with glamorous runs of velvet sofas and bornes all set with shiny gold accent pieces. Multiple gold-frame bars were set and styled for pre and post-dinner drink service. Layered, textural florals combining live and dry elements were very on-point. The program theme, "Evolve", was taken to heart. Assignment complete.
