An annual corporate holiday fete for six hundred guests at the Westin Harbour Castle Convention Centre celebrated the holiday season with sparkle, touches of greenery and modern, bold colour. Grand lounges and bars accommodated the party crowd during cocktails. The Metropolitan Ballroom, set with 60 dining tables, was a mix of clear acrylic harvest-style tables with coloured runners and banquet tables draped to the floor in matching tablecloths. The palette for this modern holiday used non-traditional and vibrant colours of hot pink, teal blue, classic red and lime green. Clear, acrylic dining chairs stood around the tables bringing in shine. This clever transparency made the the coloured tables pop. Centrepieces of exaggerated chrome snowflakes, pots of mini cypress trees and sparkling candlelight ran the length of tables. The design for this holiday dinner party, a modern holiday, was done with colour and style.
